MMM1

This wine is made from 100% Monastrell (Mourvedre) grapes grown in the Jumilla region of Spain by Casa Rojo.

It’s a modern wine, just look at its funny label, elaborated with traditional methods in order to get the most of this mediterranean grape.

The winery has created a very interesting global label called The Wine Gurus which has a mission:

“A journey through the most important grapes of Spain through five denominations of origin: Rías Baixas, Rueda, Rioja, Priorat, Jumilla”

The wine has a deep red colour with violet glints.

When you get closer to eat, you can smell pleasant plums & blackberries and some balsamic & mineral notes.

It’s like being in the spanish vineyard in the South-East region, ultra dry soils gently wet, surrounded by plum cake and berries.

It has a fresh balsamic tasting, round and pleasant in your mouth.

You’ll want a second glass for sure 😉

Perfect for Veal, Lamb, even pizza.
