Press Release – Mendoza’s Wine Experience – 2-3-4 April 2015

In just 2 days-time the 4th edition of the Mendoza’s Wine Experience will be held in Alfàs del Pi (Alicante) in the winery Bodegas Mendoza.

We’ve been to the official press release, and we are very excited about it, it’s going to be a great event for #winelovers, experts, non-experts and just wine drinkers 😉

Pepe Mendoza – the Winemaker

You’ll be able to taste 8 wines, including the brand new Monastrell Finesse 2013, a very special fine wine made from what Pepe Mendoza calls Magic Vineyards.

Here you can see 3 of the 10 wines you will be able to taste: Chardonnay 2014 (white), Santa Rosa 2011 (red) and Dolç de Mendoza 2009 (sweet red )… Splendid…

There will also be an Organic Farming Workshop, Chocolate tasting, Olive Oil tasting, and lots of other interesting activities.

If you are hungry, of course you can’t afford tasting wine with an empty stomach, there will be some stands with Cheese, local food such as Rice dishes (Paella & arròs) and other sandwitches & tapas.

And also an Ice cream stand! Cool, isn’t it?

What will you find?

Tasting 8 of Enrique Mendoza’s wines (Santa Rosa included).
· A gift of an exclusive wine glass.
· Express course of initiation to wine tasting (every 30 minutes).
Do not forget to sign up when you buy your ticket at the information desk. No reservation required before
the event. Limited places.
· Workshop Experience:
– Tasting of wines from barrels of 225l. vs. Foudre 500l.
– Sweet passion: tasting and pairing of wine & chocolate, Mendoza & Valor.
– Watch the manufacture of barrels by craftsmen.
– The world of olive oil (Including tasting).
– Workshop on organic farming.
– Tasting and comparing wines grown in stoney or sandy ground.
These activities will be held continuously during the three days in the garden area and inside the winery.
It is not necessary to make advance reservation.
